A gem for graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty. It is a series of workshops involving a combination of lectures, discussions, readings, written exercises, and practical experience to enhance the professional development of graduate and professional students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty. The workshops take place one Saturday each month from 9am to 4pm. Continental breakfast and lunch are included. Example session themes: teaching, obtaining funding, career planning, job search (you can attend individual sessions of your choice). Please visit http://www.survival.pitt.edu for more details.
